Accessibility statement

We sell accessibility work. This page is where we are held to the same standard.

1. Commitment

Dualvalcost Solution SRL, operating this site under the Valenys brand, is committed to making valenys.com accessible in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act), Directive (EU) 2016/2102 where it applies, and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549.

This statement applies to valenys.com, including all pages under that domain.

2. Conformance status

This website is substantially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

“Substantially conformant” means the site meets the Level AA success criteria with the known exceptions listed below. It is a deliberate wording: a claim of full conformance for a site whose content changes would be a claim we could not keep between two audits.

3. What we measured

The assessment combined three methods, the same ones our own audit product uses:

  • static analysis of the page markup;
  • a real Chromium browser driven by Playwright, including a full keyboard walk of each page to detect focus traps;
  • axe-core 4.8, run against the rendered page.

Measured results at the last assessment: text contrast at or above 4.5:1 throughout, one h1 per page with no skipped heading levels, every image carrying an alternative, every interactive control reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator, and under one kilobyte of JavaScript per page, so the site works with scripting restricted.

4. Non-accessible content and exceptions

The following are known and are being worked on:

  • Third-party embeds. The chat assistant, when opened, renders an interface we do not fully control. It loads only on interaction, so it is never present for a visitor who does not open it.
  • Documents. Reports produced by our audit product are PDFs. They carry document metadata and a reading order, but have not been assessed against PDF/UA.
  • Automated testing has limits. Criteria that depend on meaning and context — whether an alternative text is useful, whether an error message is understandable — were reviewed by a person, but not with users of assistive technology. We say so rather than imply a coverage we have not achieved.

5. How this statement was prepared

Prepared on the date shown at the top of this page, on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by Valenys using WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It has not been reviewed by an independent third party.

6. Feedback and reporting a barrier

If you find something on this site you cannot use, tell us. Write to the contact address published on this site, describing the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and to give you the information you were after in an accessible form while we fix the underlying problem.

7. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the national authority responsible for accessibility enforcement in your EU member state. For Romania, that is the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Drepturilor Persoanelor cu Dizabilități.

8. Keeping this current

Accessibility regresses with every release. This site is re-assessed with each substantive change and at least twice a year, and this statement is updated with the result — including when the result is worse than the last one.
